A Lanarkshire hotel has scooped a prestigious industry award.
The team at the Hampton by Hilton Hamilton Park Hotel celebrated on Sunday, May 29, as they won Scotland’s Best Low Cost Hotel at the Prestige Hotel Awards.
The awards ceremony took place at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow and was hosted by Des Clarke, and guests enjoyed a drinks reception, followed by an awards ceremony, entertainment and a specially selected three course dinner.
The Prestige Hotel Awards were created to showcase and reward outstanding service within the hotel industry in Scotland.
Members of the public were given the opportunity to nominate their top hotel, putting them forward to be considered across the categories.
Alex Cameron, the hotel's general manager, told Lanarkshire Live: "Clinching Scotland’s Best Low Cost Hotel 2022 is an honour, and to know that we were nominated by members of the public is so rewarding.
“Apart from our sincere appreciation to all guests who have reviewed and contributed positively, I would also like to dedicate this award to the staff as a testament of the hard work and service.”
Newly appointed managing director, Fiona Murdoch said: “We are delighted to have won this award, this is fantastic recognition of Alex and the entire team.”
The hotel, which is situated within the grounds of Hamilton Park racecourse, features a restaurant, bar and small fitness centre for residents, as well as panoramic views of Hamilton Park racecourse and 24-hour facilities for visitors to the racecourse for weddings, events, and conferences.
