As many of us prepare to jet off for some much needed summer sun, travellers heading to Italy have been warned that one of its most popular destinations is stopping tourists from visiting every day.
The Amalfi Coast in Italy has introduced the ban due to the huge problems the surge in travellers causes the tiny area - which is a favourite with tourists due to its dramatic sea views and bright coloured buildings.

The sheer volume of tourists flocking to take in the views has been causing miles-long backups with many having their journey times doubled and tripled, according to CNN Travel.
The new rules will stop certain tourists from arriving at the coastal town - and who gets in when is all dependent on car license plate numbers when travelling the 22-mile stretch to the town.
Vehicles with license plates ending in odd-numbers can only visit on odd-number dates, while those with even-number license plates who can only visit on even-number days.
The rules apply between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. for the entire month of August, plus weekends from June 15 to September 30 - over the main holiday period for Brits.
Rental cars are included in the ban, however residents of the 13 towns along the coast are exempt as are public transport vehicles and taxis.
However, some locals aren't happy about the new rule implementation, saying that it will deter tourists from visiting the area.
One told CNN Travel : "It discourages tourists. It makes it impossible to stay for an odd number of days. If you arrive on Wednesday, you can't leave on Thursday.
"It's not like you can send your rental car back on Amazon."
Fines will be implemented for anyone found breaking the new rules, although it is unreal how much these will be.
