A popular Lebanese restaurant is set to return to Newcastle city centre following the closure of Stack when it opens a new eatery inside Eldon Square.
The Bake One on Gosforth High Street will open a second branch called The Bake Eldon in the food court of Eldon Square shopping centre next week. It comes after the restaurant had to say a sad goodbye to its city centre premises called 'Bake Stack' when the Stack closed to make way for a new HMRC office block.
But now owner Abdullah Aldarwech is delighted to be able to welcome back customers to his new city centre restaurant.

Bake Eldon diners can expect traditional Lebanese dishes including hot and cold meze and charcoal-grilled meats.
A Lebanese breakfast is also on offer, along with daily specials - and those who pop by on Bake Eldon's first day can enjoy 50% off the menu.
Abdullah, 49, from Gosforth, said: "We are hoping to be open on Monday or Tuesday next week. We have always wanted to be in Eldon Square and I am looking forward to bringing Lebanese food into the city centre.
"Our customers are so excited."
The new Eldon Square restaurant has been a long time coming for Abdullah and his team after starting the process a year and a half ago. But now work to transform the venue is almost complete and customers can look forward to dining in stylish surroundings that feature an open-plan kitchen and traditional Lebanese-style decoration.
"When we knew the Stack was going we started looking for a new premises in the city centre because we used to have a really good customer base at the Stack," Abdullah said.
"We were at the Stack for five years and the people loved the food, so it gave us a push to find somewhere else in the city because we didn't want to lose our customers there. Some people might have found going to Gosforth was too far so we're delighted to be able to bring Lebanese food to the city centre.
"It will be good for the students as well as families. "
