A popular Vietnamese cafe has announced it will soon open at a second location in the Capital.
The hugely popular Banh Mi Bar currently operates from a unit at the East Market Street Arches, by Waverley Station. Today, the Asian-inspired eatery has announced they're coming to a second location, in Bruntsfield.
They'll take over the former home of Meltmongers on Bruntsfield Place, which was famed for its mouthwatering cheese toasties before closing during the covid lockdown.

Announcing the new venue on social media this Monday afternoon, The Banh Mi Bar said: "Finally we can share the good news…
"We have picked up the keys to our second premises, we can’t wait to get in and start putting our stamp on the place. We will be sharing our journey to opening via our social accounts but for now we just wanted to let out a celebratory “yay”!
"We are going to be moving into the premises previously occupied by Meltmongers at 80 Bruntsfield Place.
"See you soon Bruntsfield folks."
Banh Mi is a Vietnamese sandwich made up with crusty bread rolls, pate, pickled vegetables, meat such as pork, chillies and coriander and has been a huge hit in the centre of Edinburgh since being served up by the Banh Mi Bar team.
