A popular community pub and restaurant has hit the market nine months after it had a grand re-opening.
Formally known as the Kilted Pig, the newly refurbished Foundation bar and restaurant is situated on Colinton Road in the Craiglockhart area.
After a major revamp, the pub reopened in August 2022 under a new name but the same management, and hosted various events for the locals from pub quizzes and live music nights. The menu also expanded to serve the local community and offered BYOB and a kids-eat-free deal.

However, as advertised on Right Biz, Foundation is now up for sale for a leasehold of £60,000 and the current passing rent is £52,000.
The new owners would benefit from a newly refurbished and kitted-out site with the fixtures and features included in the sale. There is also a mix of full-time and part-time staff. The advert also points out that there is also a kitchen brigade of four including two chefs.
Right Biz adds: "The location is excellent for acting as a popular neighbourhood bar and restaurant as Colinton Road is one the most important arterial roads leading into Morningside and the city centre from the southern outskirts of the city.
"This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced operator to acquire an outstanding-looking business as well as a mature and well-run business."
