A popular Edinburgh bistro that went viral during lockdown for their spectacular pies have announced that they are returning for one weekend only.
Unfortunately, the team at Borough, in Leith, also made the sad announcement that due to a flood in their basement, they have had to cancel all weekend bookings.
Borough are a traditional Scottish Bistro located in the busy area of Leith and have a popular ever-changing menu and selection of small plates.

During the height of the pandemic, whilst restaurants were shut, Borough operated as a pop-up, selling their famous pies to hungry Edinburgh foodies, which included a smoked macaroni cheese pie or a steak and stout pie, which was made with local brewery Pilot's Mochaccino brew.
Taking to Instagram to inform followers of the good and bad news, the team said that while they have also had to reschedule their planned Cook for Ukraine night.
They said: "This weekend only… Pies are back!
"Due to unexpected flood in the basement of our restaurant this morning we are having to reschedule our @cookforukraine night, and sadly cancel all of this weekend’s bookings while we try and deal with fixing our electricals asap. We are really truly gutted!
"While opening for public isn’t quite possible, we are still able to cook! Pies are available for collection this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. For full menu and to order, head to our shop - link in bio."
This weekend, April 2-3, the bistro are also offering a venison pie, as well as the classic smoked macaroni version.
