A well-known Dublin wine shop has bid farewell to its customers in an emotional goodbye message.
Neighbourhood Wine will soon be closing its Leeson Street store, which started out as a pop-up back in 2020. But thankfully it's not all bad news, as the owners said they'll be opening a new join on Lower Baggot Street in a few weeks' time.
In a heartwarming message on Instagram, they said: "We’ve had some amazing times here from drinking priceless bottles of wine to making priceless relationships… from manic pandemic nail-biting times, unreal food events with Mikey, Cuan and others to blissed out music listening to Kittser & Marcus DJ without a care in the world times…

"It’s been a rollercoaster and we’ve loved it. Thank you to everyone who came by, grabbed a bottle, drank a glass, danced a jig, asked for a pint that we couldn’t serve, asked for directions to the Leeson lodge, and asked to use the loo and change for the 46A! You’ve been epic!"
The message continued: "Massive thanks to our customers and fellow traders in the Leeson Neighbourhood. It's a great place that we hope to get back to again one day soon if it comes up. We've felt the love since day one and it has been amazing.
"We'd also like to take the opportunity to thank all the Neighborhood Wine team past and present that helped us make this such a special thing."
Fans and friends took to the comments to wish the team the best on their future endeavours. One person said: "Loved all the events we attended… Looking forward to visiting at the new location!"
Another person said: "What a time it was! I'm so glad I was part of it. Can't wait to see the new spot." A third person added: "Onwards and upwards lads, glad you can look on your first shop with fond memories best of look with the new shop."
