One of Derry's most popular coffee venues has today opened it's second premises in the city.
BRØN was established on Derry's Bishop Street on the eve of the COVID-19 pandemic and since its inception it has grown in popularity, with its bright modern interior and friendly atmosphere.
Now, BRØN is opening a new takeaway venue in the city's waterside area with BRØN 2 Go situated in Spencer Road.

Owner of BRØN, Connor Allen, spoke to MyDerry about the expansion of this popular venue.
He said: "It is a class feeling to open BRØN 2 Go after a tough few years. We opened a week before COVID-19 hit and we have faced many difficulties and challenges since then.
"However, today just shows how much Derry stands by its local businesses. The support here locally is crazy, people are constantly sharing our posts on social media as well as calling in purchasing from us.
"Just this week we won Innovator of the Year at the Irish Restaurant Awards, after winning Best Cafe last year. The awards and the support pick us up again when things get difficult.
"Even this morning as we opened the doors at BRØN 2 Go at 7.30am, we had people waiting outside for us to open. The support is just class."
BRØN 2 Go was created to branch out with something different to the popular city centre coffee shop.
Connor said: "We wanted to create a Grab and Go setting since our original premises on Bishop Street is so big. We wanted to create a nice atmosphere with a few seats and a record player. People can even bring in their own records to enjoy while we make their coffee, like some of the listening cafes in London.
"We want to thank the people of Derry for being so supportive and allowing for this to happen. I am so grateful for everything they have done so far.
"I am also forever thankful to my staff, most of whom have stuck with me from the beginning, especially Jessie who goes above and beyond her job role of head chef."
BRØN 2 Go has a unique surprise it has brought to its customers; an espresso soft serve containing their own Roasted Brown espresso which is already proving to be a hit.
On social media, BRØN said: "We are super duper excited to be opening our new shop at 169 Spencer Road this week!! The Sass & Halo flower wall is complete, the neon Brøn sign is up & we’re making some finishing touches before it’s time to open the doors.
"You can expect the same great coffee from Roasted Brown, a grab & go foodie menu, retail coffee from some of our favourite roasters."
