A popular Cardiff restaurant has been left "hurt" over a large number of no-shows during graduation week. The Potted Pig in High Street in Cardiff reported dozens of no-shows during graduation week including 40 in a single day on one occasion.
While the restaurant had taken deposits from those who had booked for food the large number meant big losses for the restaurant. The restaurant tweeted on Thursday: "We absolutely love graduation week but having 40 no shows really hurt us yesterday."
With restaurants booking up months in advance, and such large numbers of people graduating this week, the company said walk-ins to make up for lost revenue were unlikely.
