
Pope Francis has called for an international treaty on AI regulation, as the EU continues to finalise details of the "world's first" AI law.
Francis, who has been the victim of AI-generated images in the past, called for a binding treaty to ensure AI is developed and used ethically, arguing that the risks of technology lacking human values of compassion, mercy, morality and forgiveness are too great.
