As world leaders convene in Italy for a summit tackling global crises, Pope Francis took a different approach by hosting an international gathering of comedians at the Vatican. The event, held at the Apostolic Palace, brought together over 200 people, including more than 100 comedians from 15 countries.
In his address to the comedians, Pope Francis emphasized the power of humor in spreading peace and unity. He commended the comedians for their ability to bring smiles even in the face of challenges, noting that laughter has the capacity to unite people across social barriers.
