Poojaa Precision Engg SME IPO to open tomorrow; sets price band at Rs 285–301

Pune-based Poojaa Precision Engg. Limited, a precision engineering company with over three decades of manufacturing expertise, has announced the launch of its SME Initial Public Offering (IPO). The public issue will open for subscription on July 28, 2026, with a price band of Rs 285–Rs 301 per equity share.

At the upper end of the price band, the IPO is valued at Rs 159.83 crore. The issue will close on July 30, 2026, and the company's shares are proposed to be listed on the BSE SME platform on August 4, 2026. Investors can bid for a minimum of 2 lots, with each lot comprising 400 equity shares.

Established in 1992, Poojaa Precision Engg. has built a strong presence in the precision engineering industry by manufacturing high-quality aluminium and machined components for the automotive, electric mobility, and diversified industrial sectors.

Its application-critical components serve a wide range of mobility platforms, including conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and electric vehicles. The company's product portfolio includes cylinder heads, intake manifolds, EGR housings, clutch and transmission housings, as well as EV-specific components used in powertrains and electrical systems.

Beyond the automotive sector, Poojaa Precision also caters to customers across commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, electric three- and four-wheelers, energy, agriculture, defence, and healthcare. Its customer base includes leading domestic manufacturers, Tier-I OEMs, and several Fortune 500 and global companies.

IPO to fund capacity expansion

The proceeds from the IPO will primarily be utilised to expand the company's manufacturing footprint.

The proposed Unit III expansion will significantly enhance the company's production capabilities by adding 15,000 MTPA of melting capacity and 6,600 MTPA of component manufacturing and finishing capacity. Additionally, the planned Unit IV facility will introduce capabilities for manufacturing precision magnesium components, enabling the company to diversify into next-generation lightweight engineering solutions.

Currently, Poojaa Precision operates with an annual melting capacity of approximately 13,800 MTPA and component manufacturing and finishing capacity of around 6,000 MTPA.

Commenting on the IPO, the company's management said: "Over the last three decades, we have evolved into an integrated precision engineering company manufacturing precision-engineered aluminium and machined components for conventional mobility, electric vehicles, and diversified non-automotive sectors. The proposed Unit III expansion will materially enhance our melting and component manufacturing and finishing capacities, while Unit IV is intended to build our capabilities in magnesium-based precision components. We believe the IPO will strengthen our manufacturing platform and support our next phase of growth, backed by our engineering capabilities, quality systems, and long-standing customer relationships."

Strong financial performance

Poojaa Precision Engg. delivered a robust financial performance in FY 2025–26, reporting revenue from operations of Rs 293.86 crore. The company posted an EBITDA of Rs 51.78 crore, translating into a healthy EBITDA margin of 17.62%, reflecting its operational efficiency and disciplined cost management.

The company reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 30.90 crore, with a PAT margin of 10.52%, underscoring its strong profitability. As of FY 2025–26, Poojaa Precision's net worth stood at Rs 131.16 crore, while its Return on Equity (ROE) was 28.18% and Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) was 26.38%, highlighting efficient capital utilisation and the company's ability to generate healthy returns for its stakeholders.

The financial performance reflects the company's healthy profitability, efficient capital utilisation, and strong balance sheet as it prepares for its next phase of expansion.

Positioned to benefit from industry growth

With a legacy spanning more than 30 years, integrated manufacturing capabilities, and a growing presence in both conventional and electric vehicle components, Poojaa Precision Engg. is well-positioned to capitalise on increasing demand for precision-engineered components across automotive and industrial sectors.

The company currently operates two manufacturing facilities in Chakan, Pune, supported by end-to-end capabilities across product design, engineering, melting, component manufacturing, machining, assembly, and value-added engineering services. Its diverse portfolio includes over 600 SKUs, enabling it to serve a broad spectrum of customer requirements across multiple industries.

As the automotive industry continues to transition toward lightweight materials and electric mobility, Poojaa Precision's planned capacity expansion and investments in advanced manufacturing technologies are expected to strengthen its competitive position and support long-term growth.
