A mum flogging her son's old clothes online was left in hysterics as her attention-seeking pooch photobombed every shot - using the hilarious snaps in a bid to sell them quicker. Louise Shelton was trying to make a bit of extra cash by selling three-year-old Thomas Shelton's old threads on online marketplace Vinted, including a pair of jeans he'd outgrown.
The 38-year-old laid the tiny trousers out on the floor in order to get a clear shot for her ad, but couldn't get a photo without needy German Shorthaired Pointer Ivy peeping into the camera. Hilarious photos show the 18-month-old pooch making sure she's the centre of attention by sticking her head in front of the lens at various jaunty angles.
After failing to get a clear shot without Ivy, the stay-at-home mum was forced to hang the jeans up and take a picture of them out of her reach. But after sharing the hilarious shots, taken on September 8th, on social media Louise decided to include them and captioned them 'Boys TU jeans - dog not included!'
Dog lover Louise has yet to sell the jeans, but hopes Ivy's modelling will help them get snapped up. Louise, from Brigg, Lincolnshire, said: "Ivy was sitting with me as per usual while I was trying to take the photos and she kept making sure she was in them.
"I was trying to take a photo of my son's jeans and she kept sticking her head in. It was hard to get a picture without her in - but it's always hard to get a picture without Ivy. She pops up in all of them, she loves being the centre of attention.
"I did manage to get some photos without her when I hung the clothes up on a coat hanger on the wall but she likes to photobomb quite regularly. Pictures of my son usually have Ivy's backside in it or a head or a paw.
"She follows me around the house all day long wherever I go, she comes everywhere with me. She loves the camera and loves having her picture taken. She always lays down with me, sits with me, she sits on clean washing, dirty washing, she's always next to me.
"They're nicknamed 'velcro dogs' because they always want to be with you. It's really sweet up until you're trying to get things done and you're tripping over them. She even comes to the toilet with me, she doesn't want to miss out on anything."
The mum-of-one decided not to include photos of Ivy in her Vinted ad until she posted the photos online and friends said it may help the jeans to sell faster. Louise said: "I didn't post the photos with the ad at first because people might be put off with them being from a house with a pet, so they might think they're covered in dog hair.
"But so many people said I should have included her because the jeans would have sold quicker. People have been asking to buy the dog and the jeans and asking how much for both.
"A lot of people told me to post the jeans on Vinted to see if I can sell them quicker. People said they'd take the jeans and not the dog.
After people dared me on Facebook to post the picture on Vinted, I decided to do it."
Louise, who also has a five-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer called Connie, says Ivy is the naughtiest dog she's ever had. Louise said: "While Ivy was photobombing my photos Connie was downstairs fast asleep. We don't hear a peep from her, she's good as gold.
"Ivy is naughty, she's wild. It's her age and breed, she constantly steals things like my son's toys. She gets on her hind legs and gets things out of the sink, she stole my entire sandwich the other day.
"She's my third German Shorthaired Pointer and she's the naughtiest of the three. She sits on a chair at the kitchen table and waits for you to do her dinner. She's a nightmare and she thinks she's a human. She's hard work but we love her anyway, bless her."
