After Liz Truss resigned as Prime Minister, we want to know if you think a general election should be held.
After just 44 days in office, Liz Truss announced she will step down from her role in a short statement delivered outside 10 Downing Street. Ms Truss had been under increasing pressure to quit following the resignation of Suella Braverman as Home Secretary on Tuesday, and the chaos which erupted in Parliament later that evening as top Tories tried to force other MPs to back her in a key vote.
Following her resignation, the Conservatives have already made arrangements to vote in a new Prime Minister. The Labour party are calling for a general election after the Conservatives have gone through three Prime Minister's in a year.
