A councillor has been forced to resign over repeated claims he is secretly world-famous graffiti artist Banksy.

William Gannon, 49, even walks around with an 'I'm not Banksy' badge on his chest after the bizarre claims got out of hand.

Mr Gannon worked as a community artist and used to operate in the same locations as the world-famous graffiti artist.
