A SIGNIFICANT emergency response descended on a block of flats following a "disturbance".
Cops, fire crews and ambulance incident response units were pictured at Kyle Court in Cambuslang on Tuesday afternoon.
The area near the flats was taped off and a witness claims officers were loading riot shields into a vehicle.
Police Scotland confirmed that they had been called at around 2.20pm and a 57-year-old man was arrested.
The force has assured there is no wider risk to the public.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 57-year-old man has been arrested following a disturbance in Kyle Court, Cambuslang.
"Officers attended at the property around 2.20pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
“There was no risk to the wider public."
