Met Police officers face racism probe over handling of fatal Wimbledon school crash

Metropolitan Police officers are facing an investigation into alleged racism regarding their handling of a road crash that tragically killed two schoolgirls.

The police watchdog has confirmed that 11 officers are now subject to its probe following the deaths of eight-year-olds Nuria Sajjad and Selena Lau. The incident occurred at The Study Prep school in Wimbledon, south-west London, in July 2023.
