Police warn 'do not approach' wanted man as appeal issued to find him

Police have warned members of the public not to approach a wanted man who might be in Tameside.

Simon Swales is wanted in connection with harassment and malicious communication offences, police said. The offences were reported to have happened this year in Manchester and Yorkshire.

The 31-year-old has links to Tameside as well as Rotherham. Officers have issued a mugshot image of him as part of an appeal for help to track him down.

Though people have been warned 'do not approach him' if spotted and to call the police instead. Anybody with information is being urged to contact Greater Manchester Police.
