Police investigating an alleged stabbing outside a Reddish takeaway have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to speak to. Greater Manchester Police says a 21-year-old man had been walking home towards Houldsworth Square with friends and his girlfriend when he became involved in an altercation with two males on Broadstone Road.
The pair, who were believed to be carrying a knife, assaulted him before fleeing the scene in a black car. The victim was taken to hospital after suffering multiple stab wounds and a serious facial injury, GMP says.
Detectives are still investigating the attack, which took place at around 1am on June 6, 2021. This week, GMP has released CCTV footage of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
