Police treating criminal damage at Newry Orange Hall as sectarian hate crime

Police are treating criminal damage at an Orange Hall in Newry as a sectarian hate crime.

Police say they received a report at around 11.15am on Saturday, January 21, that damage had been done to a doorway and graffiti sprayed on the walls of an Orange Hall on Martins Lane.

An investigation has now been launched into the incident and police are asking for anyone with any information that could assist them in their enquiries to contact them on 101.
