POLICE are to carry out a reconstruction of a man's death who went missing from Lossiemouth last month.
John Geddes, 33, disappeared on November 11 and a huge search operation was undertaken by services. Specialist resources, including a helicopter and dogs, had been used in the search.
His body was found on the side of the A941 near Lossiemouth between the B9103 and the B9135 on November 17.
Now, officers are to close the road to reconstucts Geddes' final moments, saying he “may have been struck by a vehicle”.
Police have confirmed a car and a driver have been traced.
The A941 will be closed tonight, Friday December 13.
A police statement says: “The A941 between the B9135 and Inchbroom Road, Lossiemouth, will be closed from 7pm tonight to allow for a reconstruction to be carried out.
“Traffic will require to divert along the B9135 to access Lossiemouth. The road will be closed for approximately one hour.”
