Police stopped a driver for having no lights on before finding a 40-day-old baby on the passenger's lap in the front seat. The white car was pulled over in Prestwich by officers on Sunday night (November 27).
The vehicle was initially stopped because the car had no lights on. Upon further inspection, police were 'shocked' to see a woman in the front passenger seat with the young baby on her lap.
Greater Manchester Police said the driver had used the excuse that his 'baby was hungry'. He was reported and given three points on his license, along with a £100 fine for the offence.
