Police say emergency services remain at the lake where three young boys died after falling through the ice. Searches have been taking place since Sunday evening when four children entered the water.
It was initially reported that six children had broken through the ice and police have continued to search to ensure no-one has been left behind. In a statement on Tuesday, West Midlands Police said: "Our searches at Babbs Mill lake in Kingshurst will continue today. The six-year-old boy remains in hospital in a critical condition. We will release further updates as soon as we are able."
