A man has died after being hit by a tipper truck in Leeds.
West Yorkshire Police (WYP) were called to Blakeney Road, Belle Isle, at 5.31pm on Wednesday (January 25) where they found a man, who was walking on the street, had been hit by a white Renault Master Tipper truck.
The man, who was in his forties, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. He has not yet been named by police.

Officers from the Major Collision Enquiry Team (MCET) have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses to come forward. A spokesperson for WYP said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Leeds.
"At 5.31pm yesterday, police were called to Blakeney Road, Belle Isle, where a male pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a white Renault Master Tipper truck. The man, aged in his forties, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers from the Major Collision Enquiry Team are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident." Anyone who witnessed what happened, or the circumstances leading up to it, is asked to contact MCET via 101 quoting reference 13230047728 or online.
