Police statement after crash closes busy Beeston road

Police have issued a statement after a car crash in a Nottinghamshire town. The collision happened on the junction of Queens Road and Station Road, Beeston at around 8.10am on Saturday, June 25.

Two cars were involved in the crash. Police and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the crash, with the road being closed for about an hour.

One person suffered a minor injury during the crash. No arrests have been made as a result of the incident.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police, said: "The crash happened on the junction of Queens Road and Station Road, Beeston at around 8.10am on Saturday morning. There were two cars involved and one person sustained a minor injury during the collision. Emergency services attended the scene and it was closed for about an hour before it was all reopened again. If anyone has any information or dashcam footage the incident number is 184 of June 25, 2022."
