The Prime Minister's family were spoken to by police in London's Hyde Park after letting his dog off its lead. Rishi Sunak had been walking his labrador Nova with his family in the Royal Park on Saturday (March 11).
But close protection officers had to step in when Nova was set free - just yards from a sign urging owners to keep their dogs on a lead. The Met Police said a woman had been spoken to about the incident, the Mirror reports.
"We are aware of a video showing a dog being walked off the lead in Hyde Park," a Met Police spokesperson said. "An officer, who was present at the time, spoke to a woman and reminded her of the rules.
