Police solve mystery of alleged theft of sheep from Jeremy Clarkson’s farm

  • Thames Valley Police have closed an investigation into the alleged theft of 11 sheep from Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat farm in Oxfordshire.
  • Officers revealed the livestock were never stolen, but had instead been accidentally miscounted by farm staff.
  • Clarkson had previously expressed frustration over the missing sheep, which he estimated were worth in excess of £2,000.
  • All of the sheep have now been fully accounted for, leading police to inform the television presenter that staff were to blame for the miscount.
  • Separately, Clarkson's partner Lisa Hogan praised his decision to share his early prostate cancer diagnosis on Clarkson's Farm, which drove thousands to Prostate Cancer UK's website.
