Dozens of weapons, almost a million dollars worth of drugs and wads of cash have been seized after lengthy drug-trafficking investigations across three states.
Police arrested 11 people and seized $600,000 worth of drugs and cash after a major operation in regional Victoria on Saturday.
In Queensland, police charged a man with 15 weapon and drug-related offences on Thursday as a result of a drug-trafficking investigation in Logan.
NSW Police charged a man for allegedly possessing semi-automatic firearms after detectives executed a searched warrant at a home in Birrong in Sydney's west on Friday morning.
The eight-month Victorian investigation focused on dismantling Shepparton's primary suppliers, with police alleging drugs were transported from Melbourne to a trafficking ring in Victoria's north.
Officers raided 13 homes and storage sheds in Shepparton and Melbourne on Wednesday and Thursday, seizing $150,000 worth of methamphetamine, $100,000 of MDMA, $132,000 of cocaine, $10,000 of cannabis, $150,000 in cash, a pistol and ammunition, and three allegedly stolen motorbikes.
"This week's efforts have seen police remove significant amounts of drugs from Shepparton streets, striking a major blow to the illicit drug trade," Shepparton crime investigation unit Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Shortis said in a statement.
"We know that drug use often serves as a springboard to other serious crimes which can have devastating consequences for our community."
Those arrested included eight men from Shepparton who were all charged with drug trafficking.
Queensland Police charged a 36-year-old from Loganholme, south of Brisbane, after search warrants were executed at three addresses.
It will be alleged police located three pistols, a large quantity of ammunition and $180,000 in cash.
Detectives also located approximately 2.8kg of methylamphetamine with an estimated street value of $246,000.
The Loganholme man was charged with a string of offences including three counts of unlawful possession of a weapon and four counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
Detective Acting Inspector Nicola Brown said the arrest was part of a wider crackdown on unlawful weapons and drugs.
"Police have disrupted a serious supply chain of methylamphetamine that we know was being distributed across the southeast Queensland area," she said.
On Friday, NSW Police arrested a man at a house in Birrong after searching another property in the area where a mobile phone was seized for forensic examination.
The 27-year-old was charged with more than half a dozen firearm-related offences including possessing an unregistered firearm/pistol.
He was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court on Friday.
