Police seize car 'left on roadside for days' in Nottinghamshire town

Police have seized a car in a Nottinghamshire town after it was found to have no tax. Nottinghamshire Police said they were made aware of the vehicle by residents in Bingham, after it was left parked on the roadside for days.

In a statement issued on Facebook, Rushcliffe South Police said the vehicle had no tax. "Officers from Rushcliffe South Neighbourhood Policing Team have seized another vehicle with no tax from Bingham this morning," the force said.

"The vehicle was found by residents and reported to police after it had been parked on the roadside for a number of days. To report road traffic offences in your area, please tell us about it by reporting via 101 or online."
