Klaudia, 14, went missing after leaving Clydebank Asda

Stirling Police are asking for help from the public to find teenager Klaudia Walantowicz.

The 14-year-old was last seen at 4.45pm on Saturday at the Asda supermarket on Britannia Way in Clydebank and is described as being 5ft 2ins with a slim build and long brown hair.

At the time that Klaudia went missing, she was wearing dark trainers, black leggings, a pink hoodie and a black body warmer.

Anyone with any information on her whereabouts or thinks they might have seen Klaudia is urged to contact police on 101 and quote reference number 4245 of 29/1.

According to the Missing People charity, somebody is reported missing every 90 seconds in the UK, equating to a total of 170,000 people.

Of that number, almost 98,000 are adults and more than 70,000 are children.

The charity also states that 75 per cent of adults are found within the first 24 hours of being reported missing and 85 per cent are found within two days, while five per cent are not found in the first week.

For children, the respective figures are 80 per cent, 90 per cent and two per cent.

Update: Klaudia has been traced safe and well.
