Police search for Scots man missing for four days

Police Scotland is appealing to the public for help to trace a missing Scots man who was last seen four days ago.

William Cruikshanks, aged 46, is missing from the Bridge of Weir area.

Officers are appealing to the public to come forward if they have any relevant information about his whereabouts.

William was last said to have been seen in the area of Mill of Gryffe, Bridge of Weir at 9:30 am on Friday 6th May 2022.

Police Scotland officers believe that William was wearing a black jacket and trousers and white trainers when last spotted.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "William is described as 6ft, balding light brown hair, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black combat style trousers and white trainers.

"Anyone with information which could assist police in tracing William is requested to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2188 of 09/05/2022."
