The search for a missing 74-year-old woman west of Brisbane has entered its 12th day.
Kate Mandala was last seen on Friday December 30, when she wandered away from her family home in Augustine Heights, near Ipswich.
Ms Mandala is described as being slim, having dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a white shirt with a multicoloured skirt and black broad-brimmed hat.
A pair of black slides owned by Ms Mandala were found at Spring Mountain, a suburb south of where she was last seen, on New Year's Day.
Police on foot, horseback, ATV and bikes as well as drones have been used in the search. The SES have also been involved.
Police said Ms Mandala, who only recently arrived in Australia and speaks limited English, has a medical condition which may cause her to become disoriented.
More than 1,100 homes have been doorknocked and a message in Ms Mandala's native Malawian language has been played over loud speakers.
People in Spring Mountain, Springfield Central, Springfield Lakes, Augustine Heights and Brookwater have been asked to check their properties.
Ms Mandala's family have pleaded with the public to "keep their eye" for her.
Ms Mandala's daughter Georgina Zyabu asked locals to "check their yards" for her mother.
"We still hold out hope that Mum is OK," she said.
"It has been very difficult for us to hold on, but we are desperately looking to find her.
"We are thankful for any information that may help police find Mum."
