Officers investigating a dog attack that left an elderly man in need of surgery in County Durham have released images of men they would like to speak to.
The man was bitten by a dog on Yoden Way in Peterlee at around 2.40pm on Tuesday, December 28.
It's thought the dog, described as a lurcher, was with three men and another dog at the time.

As a result, the victim had to undergo surgery on his leg due to the nature of his injures.
Durham Constabulary is now re-appealing for information into the incident and released images of three men.
A spokesman for the force said: "Police are re-appealing for information after an elderly man was bitten by a dog in Peterlee.
"It is believed the dog, described as a lurcher was with three men and another dog at the time of the incident.
"The victim was required to undergo surgery on his leg due to the nature of his injures.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Bartley on 101 then dial extension 202454."
