Police hunting two men in connection with a Christmas street attack in Edinburgh city centre have released CCTV images of the pair.
Officers are looking to speak to the young men, believed to be in their 20s, following an assault on Princes Street around midnight on December 22 last year.
Cops said they believe the pair may hold information that will "assist" their ongoing enquiries.
The first male is described as around 5ft11in tall, of slim build with a dark moustache and goatee. He was wearing a dark woollen hat, a black puffer jacket and dark trousers.
The second male is believed to be about 5ft9in tall, of slim build with short light brown hair. He was wearing a navy jumper and grey trousers.
The males or anyone who recognises them or who has any information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 1904 of December 22, 2021, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
