Police are appealing for help identifying two men after a double-stabbing in east London that left two victims in hospital.
Scotland Yard has released shocking footage of the attack in Forest Gate, Newham, along with CCTV images of two men they are trying to trace.
The stabbing happened on March 20, but two-and-a-half months on, no arrests have been made and police say they have “exhausted all lines of enquiry”.
Officers were called to the scene in Woodgrange Road shortly after 11.30pm, and found two male victims who had been stabbed multiple times.
“CCTV showed two young men approaching the victims before stabbing them,” a Met police spokesperson said on Wednesday.
“The suspects then fled towards Forest Gate Station.”
The victims were taken to hospital, where their injuries were confirmed to be non-life threatening.
Detective Constable Ben Dailey from the North East Area Sapphire team said: “We have exhausted all lines of enquiry and we are now asking for the public’s help. It is important that these men are identified as soon as possible.
"While we know the images are not of the greatest quality, we think there is a chance someone might recognise them.
"Were you a witnesses to this stabbing? Were you in the area on Wednesday, 20 March? If so, then please come forward to police by calling 101 stating 8276/20MAR24 to help us identify the two suspects."
