Police raid two Liverpool homes in morning drug bust

Police raided two addresses in Liverpool in a morning drug busts.

Merseyside Police, North Wales Police and colleagues from the Alliance and NWROCU (North West Regional Organised Crime Unit), worked in conjunction to carry out the dawn raids. Searches were conducted in Brunswick Street in Garston, Ffordd Parc Bodnant in Prestatyn, Pendyffryn Road, Lon Taylor, Vale Park all in Rhyl following a detailed, "intelligence-led investigation".

Four men and one woman were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, with all suspects currently in custody, a police spokesman said. Detective Inspector Helen Renshaw said: “The warrants executed this morning targeted the properties of individuals suspected of being involved in the facilitation of large-scale drug supply into North Wales.

“The five individuals arrested are currently assisting with our enquiries and our investigation remains ongoing. North Wales Police continues to work hard to keep drugs off our streets and reduce crime.

"By working closely with other forces and partner agencies we can tackle drug-related issues at the earliest opportunity. We urge anyone with concerns about drugs to please report these matters to us." North Wales Police can be contacted on 101."
