Police Scotland have launched an investigation after JK Rowling was threatened on Twitter by a man who "wanted to kill her with a hammer" over her views on gender reforms.
The Harry Potter author took to social media to reveal an individual had published a voice note in Gaelic, threatening to kill her on January 19. Since the tweet was published she claimed the person responsible had been identified.
