Police officer injured and alcohol seized amid anti-social behaviour at Crawfordsburn beach

One police officer was injured while numerous others had bottles thrown at them during anti-social behaviour at Crawfordsburn beach.

As hundreds of people flocked to Northern Ireland's beaches to enjoy the warmest day of the year on Monday, there were reports of anti-social behaviour, criminal damage, and a large altercation.

Police in Ards and North Down also seized a "quantity of drugs and a large amount of alcohol" at Crawfordsburn.
