An officer with the Buenos Aires City Police, Nicole Gabriela Verón, has been placed on administrative leave and is under investigation after videos surfaced showing her wearing her official uniform while posting sexually explicit content to social media and subscription platforms.
onlVerón, who reportedly joined the force about three years ago, gained significant online attention this month after clips from her accounts on Instagram, TikTok, and OnlyFans went viral. Many of these posts featured her in uniform, holding department-issued gear such as handcuffs, and participating in sexually suggestive role-play scenes. According to published reports, some of the videos showed her pretending to enact arrests or performing provocative skits alongside other people.
The content drew swift condemnation from her department. Officials said Verón’s actions amounted to “irregular conduct” that “significantly affects the prestige of the institution.” They noted that her conduct may also violate Public Security Law 5688 — legislation that prohibits the unauthorized use of official police uniforms and equipment for personal or commercial purposes.

In response, the department’s Internal Affairs division, along with the Office of Transparency and External Control, launched a formal investigation. Verón has been suspended from active duty pending the outcome. It remains unclear whether she will face permanent dismissal or other disciplinary measures.
Sources report Verón was on medical leave at the time many of the posts were published. She has modestly addressed the situation through online comments, saying she turned to content creation to support her daughter and family after her police salary was halved during her leave. She described the work as a way to financially sustain herself.
As scrutiny mounts, Verón has reportedly deactivated or removed several of her social media profiles. So far, she has not issued a public apology nor made a formal statement regarding the suspension or the ongoing inquiry.
While some media outlets have focused on the racy nature of the content, authorities emphasize that the real concern lies in the misuse of institutional symbols and equipment, not necessarily in the sexuality itself. As the internal review proceeds, her fate could shape how law enforcement agencies evaluate social-media conduct and off-duty online activity by officers going forward.
