Jordan Vincent, left, is being sought over the fatal stabbing of Rijkaard Siafa in Fellmongers Yard, Croydon - (Metropolitan Police)

Detectives have named a suspect wanted over the murder of a young man in south London.

Jordan Vincent, 27, is being sought in connection with the fatal stabbing of 22-year-old Rijkaard Siafa in Fellmongers Yard, Croydon.

Mr Siafa was attacked with a machete and suffered at least two significant stab wounds, one to his chest on April 12.

The Metropolitan Police said Vincent has ties to Essex and Sussex.

A spokesman warned the public not to approach him but to call 999 with immediate sightings.

Passers-by gave Mr Siafa first aid before paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance arrived, but he died at the scene just after 6pm.

Previously, Rammon Mali, 32, of Valley Road, Kenley was arrested at Gatwick Airport having returned to the UK from Senegal on 5 May.

He is accused of murder and will stand trial at the Old Bailey on January 20 alongside David Walcott, 34, of Turle Road, Norbury.
