Police launch urgent appeal to find schoolgirl, 15, missing from home for almost a month

Police have launched an urgent appeal to find a schoolgirl who has been missing from home for almost a month.

Kimberley, 15, was last seen in Harlow, Essex, on November 19 and officers are concerned about her whereabouts.

The Metropolitan Police said Kimberley has links to Newham, Brent, Merton, Ealing, Hayes, Harlow and High Wycombe.

Ealing Police said the girl previously went missing and was located in Acton, Ealing, Walthamstow and Luton.

Officers are exploring several lines of enquiry in their bid to find the missing teenager, Essex Live reports.

The Metropolitan Police tweeted: "We need your help to locate Kimberley, 15, who has been missing since 19 Nov from #Essex. Links to #Newham #Brent #Merton #Ealing #Hayes #Harlow #HighWycombe. If seen please call police on 101 quote ref 22MIS041542."

Ealing Police added: "She has links to Brent. When missing before, Kimberley has been located in the Acton area on a number of occasions as well as in the W5 area of Ealing, in Walthamstow and in Luton.

"There is no info to suggest Kimberley has come to harm but we're becoming increasingly concerned."

Asked why it has taken almost a month to issue a public appeal for Kimberley, a spokesperson for the Met Police, who are leading the search, explained that missing persons cases are "looked at on its own merits".

They said: "Public appeals are dependent on the information available to police and whether they believe this could assist in attempts to find the missing person. Each instance is looked at on its own merits."

If you have seen Kimberley, contact Metropolitan Police by calling 101 and using reference 22MIS041542. In an emergency, call 999.
