Police officers in Blairgowrie have launched an investigation after two alleged car theft attempts and a red diesel theft are thought to be linked.
The first of the three incidents took place on Glenalmond Road, Rattray, between midnight and 2am on Monday, March 21 where persons broke into a construction site stealing red diesel from on site machinery.
The latter incidents took place on the same street between 10pm on Sunday, March 20 and 8.30am on Monday, March 21 where the windows of two cars had been smashed in.
