Police launch frantic search for missing Fife man who left home for London

Police have launched a frantic search for a missing Fife man who left to travel to London on Tuesday.

Damian Gray, 41, left his home in the Tayport area on Tuesday, June 14 to head down south for work.

His family haven’t had any contact with him since Friday, June 17, and are becoming increasingly worried as this is out of character.

Police believe Damian was in the Piccadilly area at the time, and extensive enquiries are being carried out in partnership with the Metropolitan Police to trace him.

He is described as white, 5ft 4inch, and is muscular with a stocky build.

He has short, dark brown hair with some grey, and is clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing a light grey and white camouflage-style jacket, with a grey t-shirt, dark blue jeans, light brown work boots and was carrying a large green hill-walking style backpack.

Inspector James McGuinness said: “Our concern for Damian is growing as the days pass and he has still not been in contact with his loved ones.

"I would ask anyone who may have seen him, or who knows anything of his whereabouts, to please contact us as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information is asked to call officers via 101, quoting incident number 1934 of 19 June, 2022.
