Police have launched an appeal for information after an old school was extensively damaged in a huge fire.
Officers want to hear from anyone who may have seen people in the Crookedholm building on Grougar Road between 6.15pm and 6.40pm.
No one was injured in the blaze that ripped through the Ayrshire building last Sunday but the building has been devastated by the inferno.
Police are treating the blaze as deliberate and are now on the hunt for dashcam footage.
Police and other emergency services raced to the wilful fire near Milton Road at around 6.30pm.
Detective Constable Paul Gartland, Kilmarnock CID, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen people at the building between 6.15pm and 6.40pm.
"We are also keen to speak to drivers who were on the road between those times who may have dash-cam footage as they may have captured footage that may help our enquiry.”
Any information can be passed to officers via 101 quoting reference number 3189 of Sunday, May 14. Alternatively, details can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
