Police issue warning after two hair salons in Welsh town burgled in two nights

Police have issued a warning to business owners after two salons were burgled in the past three days. Both incidents targeted Wrexham salons which were burgled on Thursday and Friday nights.

Elm Hair and Beauty is on Argyle Street in Wrexham town centre and they were targeted on Thursday April 14. The salon was broken into in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The suspect or suspects got away with expensive and quality styling products. They also stole GHD straighteners and some hair dryers from the property.

Then on Friday April 15 at around 3am Gozo Men Salon on St George’s Crescent was broken into. The till was taken from the salon along with a Dyson hairdryer and expensive hair products. North Wales Live reported that a North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Following two reports of burglaries at Wrexham salons, we are urging all business owners to be vigilant and ensure that premises are fully secured overnight."
