Merseyside Police have issued an update following several incidents after last weekend's Merseyside Derby.
Officers were dealing with a number of incidents on Sunday, April 24, following Liverpool and Everton's Premier League match. One incident saw dog patrols deployed to Stanley Park following reports of a fight after fans left Anfield Stadium.
A man hurt in the fight refused hospital treatment and was talking to officers before leaving the park. Groups were also reported to be fighting and throwing chairs after yesterday's match.

Officers were called to reports of disorder outside the Hotel Tia on Anfield Road, Anfield. Police said the two groups, who were reported to have been fighting and throwing chairs, were dispersed.
Video, believed to be from the nearby Hotel Anfield, showed one group of men behind a wall in Stanley Park and apparently hurling plastic chairs and other objects at another group of men, some of whom were throwing them back.
Hotel Anfield tweeted: "Tonight around Stanley Park we’ve seen unacceptable behaviour from fans which have no place in football. We want to assure people that we are dealing with this appropriately & any Hotel guest identified will be barred for life. We are all Liverpudlians ffs."
Further images shared on Twitter appeared to show significant damage to the toilets in Anfield stadium, including smashed urinals and a broken ceiling. Another image showed a number of television screens smashed on the concourse.
The ECHO understands Liverpool and Everton are in contact with Merseyside Police following the incidents. Police have now issued a statement following the incidents on Sunday evening.
A spokesperson said: "We understand that some people are angry and upset at the behaviour of several groups of fans who attended the Merseyside Derby yesterday at Anfield. We want to reassure everyone affected by any of the incidents that we are actively investigating all reports of criminal behaviour and in relation to a fight between two groups on Anfield Road.
"We attended and both groups were dispersed. We are also aware of footage and images circling on social media of fans making offensive gestures during the game.
