The sudden death of a 30-year-old man in Cardiff is not being treated as suspicious. South Wales Police issued an appeal for information on Saturday after the 30-year-old man was found in the nature trail area of Moorland Park in Splott, Cardiff at around 1.15pm on Friday, July 1.
Officers initially said the death was being treated as "sudden and unexplained" but have now confirmed it is not being treated as suspicious. The man's next of kin were informed and are being supported, and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
A statement from South Wales Police on Sunday said: "The sudden death of a 30-year-old man in Splott, Cardiff, is not being treated as suspicious.
"The man was found in the nature trail area of Moorland Park at around 1.15pm on Friday, July 1.
"Next of kin were informed and are being supported. The public are thanked for their assistance. A file of evidence is being prepared on behalf of HM Coroner."
