Merseyside Police have issued a statement after a road was closed by a swarm of patrol cars.
Pictures sent to The ECHO show five police vehicles, four of which were Matrix cars, parked up across Knowsley Road in St Helens at 12.15pm on Tuesday, June 21. Merseyside Police rushed to the scene, near the Vauxhall garage, following reports of a crash.
Once at the scene officers found a Vauxhall Mokka crashed into a parked Hyundai on the road. The driver of the Vauxhall suffered minor injuries in the crash and was rushed to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service to be checked over.
