Police have issued a stark warning after lasers were shone at planes as they approached Aberdeen Airport three times in the last week.
Cops said the reckless behaviour could have tragic circumstances with pilots being distracted or potentially temporarily blinded at what is a critical time of any flight as they come into land.
Those responsible are warned that shining lights at aircrafts not only puts the lives of those on board the aircraft at risk but also the people on the ground.
