Police issue new warning after cars set on fire at A66 vigil

  • Durham Constabulary has condemned a gathering in Haswell where cars were torched and flares set off during a vigil for A66 crash victim Michael Cahill.

  • The escalation in disorder comes alongside a fatal house fire in Middlesbrough that killed a woman and her seven-year-old niece, leading to two murder arrests.
